After moving from North Queensland to Rockhampton at the age of 14, she attended North Rockhampton State High School. Initially, Katina began her career as a registered nurse at Rockhampton Base Hospital, where she quickly developed a deep commitment to helping others.
While working as a nurse in various settings—including public and private hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, and in Woorabinda—Katina simultaneously pursued her passion for law at James Cook University. Moreover, Katina’s dedication to fair treatment extends to her service on the Mental Health Review Tribunal. She specialises in matrimonial and de facto property settlements, children’s arrangements, child support, and domestic violence matters.
