Background and Experience
Ben’s journey to law is as unique as it is inspiring. Growing up in the island community of North Stradbroke Island, he later spent nine years in Brazil, working as an English teacher. Upon returning to Australia, Ben experienced the legal system firsthand as a self-represented litigant—a challenge he navigated successfully, achieving a favourable outcome. This experience ignited his passion for the law and his commitment to helping others resolve their legal disputes.
Education and Professional Recognition
Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours, Class I) from Griffith University, where he earned the Griffith University Award for Academic Excellence in 2020, 2021, and 2022. He further refined his legal expertise by completing a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at QUT, achieving an impressive GPA above 6.5.
He is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Central Queensland Law Association, ensuring his practice remains at the forefront of developments in family law.
